Huf takes pride in being a client centered accountant, specializing in tax, advisory and accounting for private companies and their shareholders. He is a strong communicator and values his relationships with clients and colleagues. His experience includes personal and trust taxation, reorganization of companies, estate and succession planning, and sales and acquisitions of businesses and property. 

Born and raised in Victoria, he is a Chartered Professional Accountant, originally receiving his Chartered Accountant designation in 2012. He completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course in 2018 and enjoys staying current with the ever-changing tax laws. When he’s not crunching numbers, you’ll find him on the golf course or enjoying quality time with his family, including his daughter and another little one on the way.

A long-standing fixture in the Gibsons office, Linda has many years of experience focusing on general practice accounting & tax for small to medium sized businesses. She has many long-standing client relationships and always takes care of those seeking her advice. Linda is well known in the Gibsons community and is an excellent all-around problem solver.

Terris smith, CPA

PARTNER

Terris is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 10 years of experience, primarily working with small to medium-sized businesses. Based in our Victoria office, she supports clients at all stages—whether they’re just getting started or looking for a new advisor. Terris is currently in her final year of the In-Depth Tax Program with CPABC and has a particular interest in tax reorganizations to help clients achieve their short- and long-term goals.

When she’s not in the office, you can find Terris at the beach with her dog, Ronnie. Since retiring from amateur boxing, she’s taken up tennis and now spends much of her free time on the courts.

After more than 20 years in the construction industry and over 10 years as a CFO for a builder/developer in Ontario, Lori now focuses her career on accounting for small business owners. She excels at accounting and CRA compliance issues, and is great at taking on tough projects.


Shannon Wells

Shannon has been working in the accounting industry for over 30 years and is extremely knowledgeable about all things accounting. She has a long history working in public accounting and when she’s not busy tackling new challenges with her no-nonsense attitude, she’s working from home while staying connected in Alberta.

Kellen joined J&M’s accounting team in November of 2024. Having previously worked in assurance, she brings a detail-oriented, methodical approach to the team. As she transitions into tax accounting, Kellen is excited to expand her skill set and contribute to J&M’s commitment to excellence.


Rebecca Goundry, CPA

PROFESSIONAL accountant

Rebecca, a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), has been in the accounting field since 2015. She is based in Cochrane, Alberta and works fully remote from her home office. With her meticulous and conscientious approach, Rebecca has gained extensive experience in various accounting roles. When she’s not immersed in numbers in her home office, Rebecca enjoys the great outdoors. You’ll often find her camping, exploring, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

CATHERINE JONES

SEniOR staff accountant

Catherine has been working in the accounting industry for many years and knows how to solve all kinds of accounting problems. Her first foray into the field was in tax, but she has broadened her scope over time and has plenty of experience helping small businesses and their owners get sorted out and running smoothly both from an accounting and tax perspective. She's also knowledgeable about cloud accounting solutions, particularly Xero.


Margaret Jang

Originally joining the team as a temporary co-op student in 2021 and with a background in the world of finance, Margaret first proved herself to be a talented and detailed-oriented bookkeeper who excels at almost every challenge. Recently, she has taken on an accounting role and continues to grow her experience and expertise.

STAFF Accountant

Mark is based in Victoria and previously worked in another accounting firm, managing clients on Quickbooks Online. He started in a bookkeeping role and has recently transitioned to an accounting role as he studies to obtain is Chartered Professional Accountant designation.

Ashley looks after our Sechelt office, and is the first person to do what needs to be done. Constantly working to make our lives and those of our clients better and more efficient, she’s a valuable part of our team.


MELANIE GIBB

Melanie looks after our Gibsons office. She is friendly, efficient, and always willing to tackle a new challenge. If you’ve called us to chat and hung up feeling like your queries were well taken care of, you’ve probably talked to Melanie!


Amanda Parkin

Amanda joined our team in 2021 as an executive assistant and excels at keeping the team organized. As part of the admin team, Amanda also helps keep our firm admin functions running smoothly.


ISABELLE LEMAY

Working entirely remotely from her home office in Ontario since 2017, Isabelle is a whiz at all things cloud accounting and bookkeeping problem solving. She works primarily with Quickbooks Online and Xero, and is great at helping track down all of the missing pieces of any bookkeeping puzzle.

Founder/advisor

Allison's practice has focused primarily on tax planning and strategic financial advisory services for businesses. She excels at business problem solving and strategic planning, and is a great person to call if you have a complex problem or if you're just not sure where to start when it comes to accounting and tax.

Her experience includes 20 years of accounting and bookkeeping work, including five years at a boutique North Vancouver firm where she was primarily responsible for tax & advisory projects. She has significant experience with accounting operations, corporate reorganizations, business sales & acquisitions, estate planning, and family trusts, for both small and medium size businesses and their owners. She founded this firm in 2017 and is not currently active in the day-to-day business.
